The HTC Legend includes everything you might expect from a follow up of the Hero: it is an Android handset which includes Wi-Fi, 3G, and GPS. As you also might expect, the Legend also includes a number of new features and adjustments to woo you into upgrading from the Hero.

It has a newly designed chassis which is made largely from a single sheet of aluminum which makes a striking impression. Along with Android 2.1, it has a revamped Sense User Interface.  In addition, it also comes equipped with an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen.

While the 3.2 inch screen and its 320 x 480 pixels is nothing new, the OLED makes it extremely sharp and bright looking. This nicely compliments the overall sharpness of the new design, which includes a rubberized panel rather than the usual backplate, and a less pronounced bottom edge lip to prevent scratching.

For the time being, the Legend is expected to be made available exclusively on contract from Vodaphone.
