Review: Aspire One 532h

Intel’s new Pine Trail platform has caused a new wave of updated netbook models. Let’s take a quick look at Acer’s new Aspire one 532h.
The 532h has specs that very much resemble those of the previous Aspire one; it is powered by Intel’s 1.66GHz Atom N450 processor, uses integrated GMA3150 graphics, and has 1GB of DDR2 memory. The main difference from the previous model is that the graphics and memory controllers are housed on the CPU itself, which is supposed to bring about improved performance as well as enhanced battery life.
As far as the appearance goes, the 532h is not radically different from the previous Aspire One. It still sports the sleek, curvy look and is available in blue, silver, and red. One notable difference, however, is the reduced size of the power adapter. The 532h has traded in the large, bulky power chord for a much smaller, compact telephone-style adapter.
