Nokia N900 – More Multitasking With Maemo
Nokia marks a new phase in the evolution of software. Maemo, the Linux-based software embedded on the Nokia N900 is claimed will be a promising performance for handset.
With Maemo 5 in the body, users of the Nokia N900 can have dozens of open windows and applications that run simultaneously.
In a written statement on Friday (28/8/2009) Nokia outlines that Nokia N900 is equipped with a processor ARM Cortex-A8, up to 1GB memory applications and acceleration OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics. It produces a variety of equipment like a mobile computer multitasking.
To make Internet browsing more fun, the Nokia N900 brings touch screen features WVGA high resolution and high speed internet access with WLAN and 10 / 2 HSPA.
The presence of the Mozilla browser to display same website when we access it using a computer. More than that, Maemo software can be updated automatically whenever the phone connected to the Internet.
For photography, a combination of software and technology N900 Maemo will help users get the clear picture and sharp from 5MP camera equipped with Carl Zeiss optics.
Nokia N900 will be coming soon in a particular market in October 2009 with an estimated price of 500 euros.
