New Place Search feature has been launched by Google, this feature gives results depending independently around locations, and this is an attempt to make its search facility more local. From today, users of Google can search for any kind of activity in a particular place. For instance, you can search for Indians in London and the list of results will bring the entire place in that particular place which will match your search.

You will also be able to see a Google map with series of re pins, these are the results shown on a map and users can also click on the list of shown review sites, for instance you can click on tripadvisor.com to see which results fits according to your needs. Place Search is something that groups the results, review sites and map in a whole new way.

Product manager of Place Search, Jackie Bavaro worte on blog that they are introducing Place search, which is a new kind of local search result that also organizes the information of places around the world. They have assembled search results around certain locations so that users can easily compare and decide where to go.

She also said, results of Place Search will start appearing automatically on Google when they speculate for local information. In addition to that users will find a new link for “places” on left side of the panel on search results page so users can move to these results whenever they want.
