Acer is all set to enter the tablet market by launching Android 3.0 tablet PCs which comes in 5, 7 and 10 inch screens in 2011. Acer is in talks with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon and Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor to adopt in is upcoming Android 3.0 tablets. In May Acer had revealed 7 inch tablet which runs on Android and is expected to arrive at the end of 2010 to the markets.

Acer will unveil an architecture based tablet PC with Windows 7 and Intel processor before launching 5,7 and 10 inch Android tablet PCs. Android PC market is forecast to grow, so Acer has nothing to be concerned about its new tablet PCs since they run on Android OS.

Acer is also having conversations with Compal Electronics and Quanta Computer to manufacture and develop three tablets with touch screen displays. Later this year Android 3.0 will be unveiled along with Google’s music service announcement. Acer is expecting that its 5 inch tablet will attract telecom operators since it can be carried as a mobile handset and a PC tablet.
