Prepaid Option For Smartphones By Verizon
On Thursday Verizon Wireless started giving the option of paying for calls in advance instead of committing to long-term contracts to smartphone users, which is called as prepaid service. This move puts Verizon directly in competition with rivals like Leap Wireless.
People like prepaid services than long-term contract commitments which comes with postpaid contracts. Prepaid service have become popular recently among the users. Leap announced that it is going to sell smartphones this summer, and immediately after some days Verizon announced prepaid services to smartphones.
Verizon Wireless also said, it is offering unlimited mobile internet use for $30 per month to the users of prepaid service on smartphones such as BlackBerrys. Prepaid users will have limited options on handsets, whereas postpaid users can get their choice of advanced phones.
