HTC customers Angry With Vodafone
Customers of HTC Desire mobile phones were very upset and angry with Vodafone because of delivering an update which added apps to the phone, but they can’t be removed or deleted. Customers have complained about the update in Vodafone forums.
Customers of Vodafone were waiting for the upgrade to 2.2 version of Android OS, which is called as Froyo. But instead of that upgrade they were given unwanted and unrequested bookmarks including dating sites, this was very inappropriate.
This update from Vodafone also added a music shop and other 360 services from Vodafone which can’t be removed. Vodafone spokesman wrote in a statement to forum users, “We customise phone software to optimise customers’ experience of the device on the Vodafone network and to enable access to our services. At a basic level, this can involve ensuring services like MMS, voicemail and data connections are set correctly.”
