Apple Still against the Legalization of iPhone Jail Breaking
Legalization of iPhone jail breaking issued by US Library of Congress Copyright office is the most searched news on the internet these days. This was an exemption to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. According to this new exemption, users can install applications on their iPhones which are not permitted by Apple and other cellphone or smartphone providers.
Apple was completely against this legalization from the day it was made, and until today the situation with Apple is same. Apple said, it just wants its customers to have a wonderful experience with the phone and nothing else. According to Apple, jail breaking or unlocking the phone will affect the quality of experience which they could have had with their device without unlocking the phone.
Apple believes, by jail breaking the iPhone 4, it will not work according to its standards and it may also become unstable with unreliable applications installed with the help of unknown software. It would be like breaking the copyright terms. Apple can deny to support or even refuse the service to devices which they think that have been jail broken. When you purchase the device, you are agreeing to all the terms and conditions of copyright. And by unlocking the phone you are going against the terms and conditions and you may not even get warranty and service for you device.
It is upto the user, if he still wants to do it, after knowing all the consequences of doing it.
