‘Delete Account’ Function Tested By Facebook
According to recent reports, giant social network Facebook is testing a new ‘delete account’ function which makes it easier for the users to delete their accounts. With this new function you can quit the social networking site permanently. Before this deactivate button was under FAQ section of help center, not it has been moved under the account settings tab, which can be seen as “Deactivate or delete your account”.
When you click on that link, you can permanently get rid of your account from Facebook immediately. Earlier this function did not come into action until the next day after you click it. This feature was limited to only some accounts in testing phase, but soon it will be rolled out to all the accounts of Facebook. “We are constantly testing new ideas,” said a Facebook spokesman.
Facebook faced lot of criticisms this year because of its privacy settings which made users to publicly share more details than they would have thought. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg said, they will apply a privacy filter to all the accounts which will protect the information from all parts of the accounts.
Folks!! Be ready for the new Facebook with more features and flexibilities.
