Samsung Captivate, A Cool Touch Screen Smartphone
For people who are concerned about buying Apple iPhones because of its antenna problem can now hop to Samsung’s new Galaxy S Captivate to have the same feeling. It is a large 4 inch, AMOLED screen. Its slim superphone, though it lacks some of the basic features compared to Apple iPhone. Super amenities like 7.2 Mbps 3G connectivity, WiFi, HD video recorder, 5 megapixel camera, 16 GB memory and SWYPE text input. The most important, you can updates from your Facebook, Twitter and MySpace accounts.
Screen display is more brighter and colors are very accurate compared to iPhone. In iPhone, you can see the home page of ESPN in maroon color, but actually it is red. In Samsung Captivate, you can see the home page of ESPN in red color. Captivate is wider and taller than iPhone and thicker as well. Even being huge in size, everything is made of plastic. So, it is lighter than iPhone in weight.
Only drawback of the phone is backlighting, which goes off when the display is still on. It is pretty annoying when this happens, you lose the light when you are doing something. You can find only two physical controls on the phone that is, volume rocker left side and power switch on right.
